If you sign up for the Bolara 60 newsletter, we will process your personal information (name, email address) for the following legitimate business purpose:  To send you email communications which we think will be of interest to you, ie information about Bolara 60 news, activities, events and services. We use the service provider MailChimp to manage the newsletter list and mailings. We do not share your data with anyone else.

You can subscribe to the Bolara 60 newsletter by clicking on the ‘Sign up’ button at the bottom of this page. Remember to tick the “Email” box because our newsletters only come via email!

You can check or change your name and email address in our records by clicking the ‘update your preferences’ link in the footer of any email newsletter you receive from us. Remember to tick the “Email” box because our newsletters only come via email!

You can unsubscribe from the Bolara 60 newsletter anytime by clicking the ‘unsubscribe from this list’ link in the footer of any email newsletter you receive from us, or by contacting us.

If you book a stay or visit Bolara 60 (accommodation, meals etc), we will process your personal information (name, email address, dates of stay, payments received, meals booked, dietary requirements) for the following legitimate business purpose:  To manage our accommodation and meal bookings, send you pre- and post- stay emails with information about Bolara 60, including our newsletter, and to keep a record of who visited when so as to better plan future events and services. By law we are obliged to give guests’ passport details to the local authorities, which we do so via the online Croatian eVisitor system. We also share basic details of bookings with our accountancy firm (Demex d.o.o.) so they can process our financial data in accordance with the law. We do not share your personal data with anyone else.

If you enquire about volunteering at Bolara 60, we will keep your name and email address on file so that we can let you know about volunteering opportunities. If you are no longer interested in this, just let us know and we’ll remove your details from this list.

Whenever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always keep your Personal Data rights in high regard and take account of these rights. You have the right to object to this processing if you wish, and if you wish to do so please contact us. Please bear in mind that if you object this may affect our ability to carry out the tasks above for your benefit.
